The main structure of the three-lobe Roots blower is as follows
1. Shell and wall panels.
It can be a split or integral structure, with appropriate reinforcing ribs on the surface, made of gray cast iron and subjected to aging treatment.
2. Impeller.
Generally made of gray cast iron and subjected to aging treatment. The impeller profile is gradually opened, and dynamic and static balance correction is performed before impeller assembly.
3. Shaft.
The main and driven shafts are made of 45# steel and are heat-treated. The main and driven shafts are supported on the wall panels by rolling bearings, with the C-type drive on the main shaft pulley side, multiple supporting bearings, and the gear end bearing being a non-locating bearing.
4. Gears.
The main structure of the Roots blower assembly is horizontal, with the plane determined by the axes of the two impellers parallel to the ground. The intake port is at the upper end of the shell, and the driving wheel rotates counterclockwise when viewed from the pulley (or coupling) end, with gas being drawn in from the upper end and discharged from the left side (or lower end). The blower and motor are driven by a belt (or coupling) and installed on the same base.
