1. No-load startup.
When starting the three-lobe Roots blower, the intake and exhaust ports should be opened, and the blower should be in a no-load operating state. After opening the exhaust port, press the start button to start.
2. Condition of lubricating oil.
① When the Roots blower is running, I need to observe the splashing condition of the lubricating oil. Normally, this can be observed at the oil indicator hole or the top oil tank hole. This splashing will form an oil mist, which not only affects the operating efficiency but also leaves oil stains everywhere.
② If the equipment runs for a long time, the oil temperature will rise. Pay attention to the temperature of the oil tank. The temperature should not be too high. With long-term use, the oil level of the lubricating oil will decrease, and it can be supplemented in time.
③ The standard for adding lubricating oil is to add it when the blower is stationary. Do not add lubricating oil while the blower is running.
3. Monitor for abnormal situations.
During the trial operation of the blower, monitor whether there are any abnormal sounds, odors, smoke, impacts, friction, vibrations, etc. If any are found, please check the blower in time.
4. Initial normal operation.
During the initial operation of the blower, due to the early startup of the blower and the viscosity of the lubricating oil, the current may be too high. However, it is normal for this to disappear after the blower has been running for a while.
5. Open the pressure gauge.
If the pressure gauge has been closed for a long time or is not installed, please install and open the pressure gauge according to the manual, and then proceed with the trial operation.
6. Startup and shutdown operations.
During the startup operation, first open the exhaust valve and the gate valve. After the blower starts, slowly close the vent valve, and the blower pressure gauge will gradually rise to the standard value. When shutting down, open the vent valve, close the gate valve, and then turn off the power.
Throughout the use of the equipment, there will certainly be some incorrect operations, mainly due to a lack of understanding of the equipment. If these improper operations cause equipment failures, the solution is to do more 'homework' and follow the operating instructions.
