1. Damage to the front bearing of the drive shaft, the Roots blower is offline, and upon opening the front bearing box, it is found that the bearing is damaged. The oil lubrication system is checked, and it is found that the oil supply pipe is blocked, and the front bearing of the drive wheel is not lubricated, causing dry friction damage to the bearing.
2. The blower cannot be restarted after shutdown. During the operation of the three-lobe Roots blower, the air output flow is about 580m3/h, while the process requires an air volume of 200-300m3/h. Subsequently, the operator did not fully open the gate valve on the air outlet pipeline during operation, resulting in the blower starting in an overloaded state.
3. Local friction between the impeller and the front wall plate. When the Roots blower is working, touching the front wall plate with a hand reveals obvious friction between the impeller and the front wall plate, accompanied by heat and vibration. The main reason for the friction between the impeller and the wall plate is the improper installation accuracy of various components and the gap between the impeller and the wall plate.
