The use of a Roots blower is directly related to its motor, which is equivalent to the 'brain' of the blower, especially if it is a device with a relatively large power.

The use of Roots blowers is directly related to their motors, which are equivalent to the 'brain' of the blower. If it is a high-power device, the pressure generated by the motor during operation is also significant. Therefore, it is important to pay attention to the motor's condition during operation to prevent burning out or other failures.

With a fixed motor speed, the load on the motor increases after pressure buildup, making it prone to overflow and damaging the motor.

Roots blowers are positive displacement blowers, where the air volume delivered is proportional to the speed. For every rotation of the three-lobe impeller, air is drawn in and expelled three times by two impellers. Compared to two-lobe types, gas pulsation is reduced, load variation is small, mechanical strength is high, noise is low, and vibration is minimal. There is always a small gap between the impeller and the inner surface of the oval casing and between the two impellers. Due to the reverse uniform rotation of the impeller, the gas enclosed by the casing and the impeller is transported from the intake side to the discharge side, thus two three-lobe impellers are set on two horizontal axes.

In our daily maintenance work, special attention needs to be paid to the condition of the motor, and maintenance should not be neglected. If there are any unclear aspects regarding the Roots blower equipment, feel free to consult us!
