(1) The pulley is correct. Starting from point a on the wheel end face, along the centerline of the two wheels, the ruler (or pull rope) is close to the wheel end face, and the ruler touches the four points AB, c, d of the two wheel end faces at the same time, indicating that the two wheel end faces are flat and the installation position is correct. Otherwise, the position of the pulley is incorrect, which will not only shorten the life of the belt but also affect the operation of the machine, and it must be adjusted. The adjustment method is: ① When the blower is parallel to the motor axis, if the end faces of the two wheels are uneven, the wheel that protrudes outward should be adjusted inward appropriately. ② When the two axes are not parallel, loosen the connecting media bolt between the motor and the seat, and adjust the motor axis. ③ When the belt is loose, please move the motor axis laterally.
(2) The tightness of the belt should be appropriate, and the commonly used inspection methods are as follows:
1. Measure the distance h_t (mm) between the contact points of the belt and the two pulleys.
2. Use a spring scale to measure the external force w acting vertically on the midpoint of the belt. When the deflection S meets the relationship S-0.0161 (appropriate lom), the external force must bear the responsibility of the 9-2 regulation when the belt is loose.
3. If the measured external force is too small or too large, it indicates that the belt is loose or too tight and should be adjusted. If it is too tight, the life of the belt and bearings will be shortened, causing slipping and vibration, and the belt will wear out prematurely.
(3) Installation and adjustment of the belt. The following issues need to be noted:
1. When installing the belt, first reduce the center distance of the two wheels, then install the belt without forcing it open.
2. Do not apply belt wax on the belt or pulley.
3. Even for belts of the same model and specification, there will be different manufacturing errors in length. Therefore, it is best to group belts of the same length or similar lengths together for use.
4. When replacing belts, all belts should be replaced at the same time, and new and old belts should not be mixed. Otherwise, the different lengths of the belts will concentrate the load on the new belts.
5. New belts may become fatigued and loose a few minutes after installation, and tension should be supplemented in time.
