Recently, many customers have come to consult us, asking what causes excessive current during the operation of the Roots blower. For this issue, I will explain it uniformly here.

During the use of the Roots blower, a series of problems often arise due to excessive current. When the device's current is too high, the motor will be overloaded, affecting our normal work.

① Pipeline blockage: Due to the poor exhaust outlet of the blower, the air cannot be discharged, causing pressure to rise, which together with the motor creates overpressure and overload, leading to an increase in the device's ammeter. Incorrect current overload may also be a problem that occurs during operation, such as the inversion of the check valve or the incomplete inversion of the gate valve. Such operations can easily lead to the instantaneous burning of the motor.

Roots blower parameters: What causes excessive current?

② During operation, it should be operated according to regulations, and avoid unnecessary troubles caused by complicated operations. Lubrication: If the equipment lacks lubrication, the blower continues to operate in a low-oil state, leading to impeller failure conflicts, increased wear between gears, and increased motor load, which will only increase the motor load and accelerate wear.

③ Blower issues: The Roots blower itself may have quality issues when it leaves the factory. When installing the blower, poor coordination between multiple components can create rated conflicts, and even damage some components, increasing the motor load and causing the fuse to blow. Outlet issues: If the air cannot be discharged, the pressure will rise, and the motor load will also increase, leading to excessive current.

If our blower experiences this series of problems during operation, we can look for the causes from the above three points.
