After the Roots blower equipment is lubricated, the lubricant needs to be replaced after a period of time; otherwise, performance will decline and leakage will occur. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement or replace it in a timely manner. Generally, the machine should be replaced every 3 months, but whether it needs to be replaced specifically depends on the situation.
After adding lubricating oil to the Roots blower equipment, the lubricating oil needs to be replaced after a period of time; otherwise, performance will decline, and leakage will deplete the oil. Therefore, it is necessary to supplement or replace it in a timely manner. Generally, machines should be replaced every 3 months, but whether it needs to be replaced depends on the quality of the lubricating oil. Below, the editor will teach you a few judgment methods. The primary judgment is:
① Check whether the lubricating oil of the Roots blower is mixed with excessive impurities. These impurities may also be materials transported during work or may have accidentally fallen in from the external environment.
During the inspection, please dip a small amount of lubricating oil with your finger, tighten and press, to determine whether there is a noticeable graininess.
② Check whether the lubricating oil has oxidized or deteriorated.
When it is oxidized or deteriorated, its appearance will be different. At this time, the lubricating oil will turn black or dark, and a hard gel film will form on the surface.
③ Different types of lubricating oil should not be mixed. New lubricating oil and old lubricating oil should also not be mixed.
Therefore, when replacing the lubricating oil, the waste lubricating oil should be thoroughly removed before filling in new lubricating oil.
④ The lubricating oil should be supplemented appropriately. Too little will cause insufficient lubrication.
Too much will cause excessive agitation and rapid heating of the grease, leading to separation, decomposition, and leakage of the oil.
If there is severe oil leakage during operation, the grease should be supplemented and replaced in a timely manner to ensure the normal use of the Roots blower. The conventional method is to combine the sealing pad with the processing interface for long-term shutdown disassembly and replacement. Effective management during equipment operation is not possible with traditional methods.
