How to effectively solve the problem of high oil consumption in rotary fans.
Everyone who has used or been familiar with rotary blowers for a period of time will encounter some high oil consumption phenomena. With the updates and upgrades in technology, there are corresponding solutions to such problems. Below, the editor from Mingfeng Machinery will analyze this for everyone and provide a reasonable solution: Reason One for Rotary Blower Blockage 1: Air Filter Blockage and Sponge Cleaning During the operation of the blower, it is in a vacuum running state. If this state lasts too long, it will increase the oil consumption of the blower. The solution is to clean and replace the sponge in the air filter. 2: Application Environment The use of the blower is also based on the specifications of the application environment. The specifications of the blower must meet the requirements. If a small flow rotary blower is used in a relatively large environment, it will lead to overload conditions, high blower speed, overheating, motor vibration, and high oil consumption. Therefore, everyone should pay attention to choosing the appropriate blower for different environments. 3: Debris Cleaning and Lubricating Oil Addition If the rotary blower is used for too long, there will be wear inside. Therefore, it is advisable to clean the debris inside or add the corresponding lubricating oil once a month. Regular maintenance will reduce the wear of the blower, and the lubricating oil should also be cleaned regularly to prevent deterioration. The above three points introduce the reasons for high oil consumption in rotary blowers and their solutions. I hope this is helpful to you.

How to solve the abnormal noise of the aeration fan?
Many users have reported that the sold Roots aeration blowers are too noisy. Is the noise a quality issue with the product? What impact does it have on the blower? Next, the editor from Mingfeng will provide a detailed analysis for you. The noise from the Roots aeration blower is not necessarily a quality issue; it may also be due to inadequate maintenance. The Roots aeration blowers produced today have undergone continuous technical improvements, and the noise levels have been significantly reduced. If your Roots aeration blower is making a lot of noise, it is likely that your blower has malfunctioned or been damaged. Here, the editor would like to remind you: first, check if the blower is properly secured. Next, let’s analyze the issues and the reasons that may lead to them: 1. Insufficient air volume from the blower 1.1. Blocked filter 1.2. Excessive gaps between parts 1.3. Replace or clean the filter 2. The motor of the blower is overloaded 2.1. Blocked blower filter 2.2. Excessive pressure increase in the blower 2.3. Friction between the impeller and the impeller, wall plate, or casing 2.4. Ensure oil level, ensure cooling water is unobstructed, and meet usage requirements for knocking sounds 3. Severe damage to bearings and gears 3.1. Poor lubrication oil 3.2. Insufficient lubrication oil 3.3. Replace lubrication oil, and replace gears and bearings if necessary 3.4. Supplement lubrication oil, and if necessary, check the bearings (it is advisable to seek specialized personnel and not disassemble casually) The above points explain why Roots aeration blowers may produce noise and provide solutions. When encountering such situations, you can refer to this information to resolve the noise issue of the Roots aeration blower. If the blower makes noise, do not panic; first, stop the machine and check what caused it. If you cannot find the reason, consult a professional repair service for the Roots aeration blower manufacturer. Regardless of how strong the quality and performance of the Roots aeration blower are, daily maintenance work should not be neglected. Only by properly maintaining the Roots aeration blower can its lifespan be extended. Some friends may ask how to maintain the blower regularly? 1. Regular maintenance of the blower 1.1. During use, everyone should pay attention to whether there is friction or foreign objects being sucked in between the impeller and the casing, between the impeller and the wall plate, and between the impellers. Hard foreign objects can easily damage the impeller, leading to excessive pressure and overheating. At this time, usage should be stopped for inspection and repair. 1.2. During daily use, multiple checks should be performed before use. 1.3. During long-term operation, due to rusting of the impeller and casing, the working gap may increase, leading to increased leakage inside the blower, increased casing temperature, and reduced blower flow. At this time, the machine should be stopped to measure the gap and take corrective measures. 1.4. In cold weather, be sure to drain the cooling water after use. 2. Usage requirements for the blower 2.1. The inlet air temperature must not exceed 40°C. 2.2. The content of particulate matter in the medium must not exceed 100mg/m3, and the maximum particle size must not exceed half of the minimum working gap. 2.3. The bearing temperature during operation must not exceed 95°C, and the lubrication oil temperature must not exceed 65°C. 2.4. The operating pressure must not exceed the pressure range specified on the nameplate or in the performance table of this manual. 2.5. The gap between the impeller and the casing, and between the impellers, is adjusted at the factory; ensure this gap when reassembling. (Excessive gaps affect performance. Gaps that are too small can cause friction and collision due to thermal expansion.) 2.6. When the blower is running, the oil level in the main and auxiliary oil tanks must be between the two lines on the oil level gauge. 3. Maintain regular inspections 3.1. Daily checks (1) Check the oil level. Too much or too little lubrication oil can damage the bearings. (2) Check the temperature of the main, auxiliary oil, and bearing areas. (3) Check the pressure of the intake and exhaust to confirm whether the blower is operating normally. (4) Check the motor load. If the motor load increases, it indicates some abnormal condition, and the cause should be investigated. (5) Check the sealing effect of the packing.

Share 8 issues regarding the operation and maintenance of desulfurization oxidation fans.
If you understand the desulfurization oxidation fan, you will know that due to the large air volume and high pressure, the design and manufacturing level requirements are quite high. The oxidation fan is crucial for the long-term safe and stable operation of the desulfurization system, as it not only affects the complete oxidation of calcium sulfite but may also lead to scaling and blockage of the demister and GGH. The failure rate of oxidation fans in desulfurization systems is high. From the perspective of debugging, operation, and maintenance, Mingfeng Machinery recently had detailed discussions with technical professionals and summarized: 1. The installation position of the local pressure gauge of the oxidation fan should be between the oxidation fan outlet and the safety door, that is, inside the safety door, to truly reflect the pressure of the oxidation fan. It is unscientific if it is between the exhaust door and the safety door or between the safety door and the outlet door. 2. During operation, do not overly rely on the safety door. When the outlet pressure of the oxidation fan exceeds the allowable value of the equipment, due to the limited pipe diameter and exhaust capacity of the safety door, only part of the air pressure can be released. This can largely be understood as an alarm, and other measures should be taken, such as opening the exhaust door to relieve pressure. 3. Each oxidation fan is equipped with an outlet door, most of which are manual valves. Unless in maintenance mode, it is recommended that the outlet door should be in a normally open state, as the manual door switch status does not enter the DCS. If the oxidation fan starts with the outlet door closed, when the exhaust door is closed, the equipment will quickly be damaged due to fan overpressure. 4. The oxidation fan is a Roots blower (recently, some power plants use centrifugal fans, which are not included here). The outlet pressure of the oxidation fan depends on the back pressure (resistance) of the pipeline and system, and it has the characteristic of forced gas delivery. Therefore, it must be fully open, and it is strictly prohibited to adjust the outlet door to adjust the pressure. It is also necessary to ensure that the pipeline is unobstructed and not blocked. 5. The exhaust door should close slowly and steadily, so the valve is not suitable for quick-acting valves like pneumatic valves. An electric valve can be used to ensure a certain stroke time. 6. Startup process: First, confirm that the exhaust door is in the open position, start the oxidation fan, and delay closing the exhaust door. The delay time mainly considers the stable operation after the oxidation fan starts. Since the startup operation steps are simple, manual startup is commendable, and sequential control startup can also be done with a delay. Regardless of how to start, on-site checks of cooling water, oil level, and the outlet door in the fully open position should be made to form a good operating habit. Since most oxidation fans use closed cooling water from power plants, if the cooling water is opened, the cooling water flow of the stopped fan will be affected. Most power plants will turn off the cooling water for unused equipment and open it again during startup. 7. The automatic switching function of the backup oxidation fan should not be activated. One oxidation fan is used while the other is on standby. When one fails and stops, the other automatically engages, which is unnecessary and poses significant risks, as high-pressure equipment itself requires manual inspection of many links before it can start. After the equipment stops, it is feasible for the operating personnel to check and confirm before manually starting the backup equipment. To avoid backflow of oxidation air, each fan outlet is equipped with a check valve. Its direction cannot be reversed; if reversed, it not only fails to function but more importantly, it causes pressure buildup, damaging the fan. 8. The check valve is even more important for dual-use backup fans. If the check valve is poor or leaks air, it will lead to difficulties in starting the other one. The above 8 points are hoped to be of some help to everyone. If you have any questions, please contact Shandong Mingfeng Machinery Manufacture Co., Ltd.
